Your dog will learn behaviors such as sit, down, stay, come, watch, wait at doors, greet people nicely, leave forbidden items, walk on a loose leash, and drop items when asked. This class is a combination of science and creativity, benefiting dogs by teaching patterned and consistent behavior for relaxation, focus, and structure, even in the most stimulating or stressful environments. The Kruisin' Kanines Control Unleashed class features games and patterns for focus, attention, and managing distractions; and is based on the book and program created by Leslie McDevitt. Control Unleashed is perfect for:
- Dogs that are uncomfortable or unable to work off-leash around other dogs
- Dogs that are easily distracted and have difficulty concentrating
- Dogs that are reactive or easily aroused
- Dogs that are anxious or stressed and tend to shut down
Canine Good Citizen
The American Kennel Club believes "that all dogs can be good dogs, and all owners can be great owners; all it takes is a little bit of training, lots of love, and plenty of praise along the way."
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) creates a strong dog/human trust relationship. It ensures good dog behavior and good dog neighbors. CGC often lays the foundation for other dog sports such as obedience, agility, tracking, and performance events. CGC is also a building block for dogs that go on to be therapy dogs.

You will be introduced to the basic trick behaviors that lead to complex tricks. Work on spinning left and right, jumping through a hoop, figure eight between your legs, roll over, back up, take a bow, shut the door, and go to a specific place. Whether you're a novice or a pro, this is a great way to increase communication skills, improve the bond between you and your dog, and engage your canine best friend in a fresh and positive way.
Prerequisite: Canine manners, canine good citizen, or a basic pet training or obedience class.
