Contacts and Weaves
Tuesday 7:30pm
This specialty class focuses on the weaves obstacle and contact obstacles, including the dog walk, A-frame, and see-saw/teeter. You'll build confidence and understanding by working weave entries to exits and contact obstacle drive and end target behaviors, all while adding distance and distractions.
Dogs should know the basics of weaving and have worked contact obstacles at full height, but in this class you'll be able to develop the skills further, all with sound coaching, interesting techniques, and fun.
Prerequisite: Passed Foundations series. Dogs should have a basic understanding of weave poles and be working contact obstacles at full height. Teams should have a positive attitude and be prepared to practice some skills at home.
