Intermediate & Advanced Sequencing
Thursday 7pm
Special 3-week mini-session: 12/4, 12/11, 12/18
Using a team's solid grasp of skills and basic handling, this class explores course analysis using multiple handling strategy choices. This class will expand the team's understanding of the dog's line, different turns and crosses, as well as motion as it relates to collection, extension, and lateral distance. Teams will be challenged in discriminations, blending handling techniques, crosses, and side changes. The teams will gain a better understanding of how personal handling choices will impact their team's success. Skills will be broken down to work on challenges. Courses from AKC Open/Excellent/Master/ISC may be used.
Prerequisite: Pre-Novice/Novice, Handling 101/201, Skills & Drills classes, or similar background. Dogs should demonstrate an understanding and general competency of all agility obstacles.
