This class will cover clicker training, attention, agility floor work, going to a mat, plank, perch work, stays, targeting and toy play. | ||
Foundations I |

Eight Weeks |
The main focus of this class is to introduce dogs and handlers to agility training. This Class gives dogs a basic familiarity with all of the agility obstacles and utilizes clickers for positive, reward-based training. | ||
| Foundations II | Monday | Eight Weeks | This Class expands on the skills developed in Foundations I and focuses on correct obstacle performance, including solid contact behavior, while building and maintaining drive and speed. | ||
| Skills | Tuesdays | Eight Weeks | Dogs in our Skills class will focus on correct obstacle performance; solidifying their contact and other criteria, and proofing their abilities and independence. |

This Class focuses on improving handler skills as it relates to negotiating difficult sequences at speed. Full course work is also included in efforts to prepare teams for the toughest levels of competition. Course Analysis and handler decision making are the focus of this class. Proofing of performance will continue along with regular “back to basics” training to strengthen foundation skills. Entrance into this class is based upon recommendation from the Advanced Class instructor or upon evaluation with one of the Masters level instructors. |
